Freebetsnow.co.uk was acquired at great expense by our clients ahead of the 2011/12 football season, who wanted to compete in the free bets affiliate market.

Some gambling firms will pay as much as £50 for each referred customer (knowing that they will more than likely stay a loyal customer and lose much more than that on bets!) so getting fans to click through and sign up to the best betting offers from your website can be a lucrative game. Needless to say, it's also a very competitive one.

When the client came to us, we told him that the site needed a make-over. We completely re-designed the website with new and easy functionality, whilst also making sure that it was focussed much more on content (betting previews, etc) rather than just lists of the best betting offers. We then began link-building like there was no tomorrow, with the budget affording one of our staff to work full-time on this one project alone.

We're ecstatically pleased with the results so far (we're only 4 weeks in!), but we know that we still have some way to go to get to number 1 in a few of the keywords. To be so high in such a competitive market makes us believe that we could get great results for ANY sports site.
